ID.me’s Identity Broker provides a single point of integration for an organization to consume multiple third party IDPs.

The Identity Broker can tap into ID.me’s Attribute Exchange and bind nth number of additional validated external attributes to a verified legal identity, e.g. student status, military status, physician accreditation, educational degree.

VA.gov

At the beginning of 2016, ID.me was selected by the Department of Veterans Affairs to provide the login, identity proofing, and multi-factor authentication for VA.gov, the VA's healthcare and benefit portal. With ID.me’s support, VA became the first federal agency to successfully issue high-assurance NIST 800-63-2 Level of Assurance 3 (LOA3) credentials at scale to citizens. ID.me also helped the VA strengthen existing logins with 2-factor authentication to meet federal identity standards.
